AttnSetter.io Cookie Consent Policy. Owned and operated by 3P Media (Owner: Positive People Posse, 3P Media, Kansas City, MO). Effective July 1, 2026 · Last Updated July 6, 2026. This policy applies to the AttnSetter.io marketing website and the AttnSetter platform dashboard and is governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States. Section 1 — Introduction
AttnSetter.io and all products operated under the AttnSetter brand are owned and operated by 3P Media (“AttnSetter,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Cookie Consent Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.
This policy applies to:
- The AttnSetter.io marketing website and all associated landing pages
- The AttnSetter platform dashboard and all in-product features
- Any AttnSetter-owned or operated subdomain or web property
Section 2 — What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to remember your settings. Alongside traditional cookies, we also use:
- Local storage — browser-based storage that persists data between sessions (we use it to remember your theme and cookie choice).
- Session storage — similar to local storage but cleared when the browser tab is closed.
Section 3 — Cookies We Use
AttnSetter currently uses only the essential (strictly-necessary) cookies and storage listed below. These are required for the site and platform to function and cannot be switched off. The table lists each item, what it is for, and how long it lasts.
| Name / Technology | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session / authentication cookie (httpOnly) | Keeps you securely signed in to the AttnSetter platform and protects your session. Set only after you log in. | Essential | Session / until you log out |
as_theme (local storage) | Remembers whether you selected light or dark mode so the interface stays consistent. | Essential (preference) | Persistent until you clear it |
as_cookie_consent (local storage) | Records your cookie choice so we don’t re-prompt you on every visit. | Essential | Persistent until you clear it |
Analytics, advertising, and functional cookies are not currently in use. Should we add product analytics or marketing/retargeting cookies in the future, we will list them here, set them to off by default, and load them only after you affirmatively accept them through the cookie banner. This policy and the “Last updated” date will be revised before any such change takes effect.
Section 4 — Detailed Description
4.1 — Essential Cookies (in use today)
Essential cookies and storage are strictly necessary for the basic operation of AttnSetter.io and the AttnSetter platform dashboard. They enable:
- User authentication and session management — keeping you securely logged in across pages.
- Session security — protecting your account while you are signed in.
- Interface preference — remembering your light/dark theme choice (
as_theme). - Consent record — remembering your cookie choice (
as_cookie_consent) so we do not re-prompt on every visit.
Essential cookies cannot be disabled through our banner. Blocking them at the browser level would prevent AttnSetter.io and the platform from functioning correctly, including your ability to sign in.
4.2 — Analytics, Advertising & Functional Cookies (not currently used)
We do not currently load Google Analytics, product-analytics, advertising/retargeting, live-chat, or other third-party tracking cookies on AttnSetter.io or in the platform. If we adopt any of these tools, we will describe them here and gate them behind your consent, and non-essential cookies will remain off until you opt in.
Section 5 — Third-Party Cookies and Services
AttnSetter does not currently load third-party advertising or analytics cookies on its website. Certain essential service providers may set their own cookies strictly to deliver a service you request — for example, Stripe may set cookies during checkout for payment security and fraud prevention. Where that applies, those cookies are essential to completing the transaction. You can review Stripe’s privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.
Section 6 — Your Cookie Choices and Controls
6.1 — AttnSetter Cookie Banner
When you first visit AttnSetter.io, our cookie banner gives you these options:
- Accept all — consents to any non-essential cookies. (Today there are none; this choice also applies to any analytics/marketing cookies we may add later.)
- Reject non-essential — keeps only essential cookies active. Because we currently set only essential cookies, both choices leave the same cookies in place today; your preference is recorded for the future.
Your choice is saved to your browser’s local storage under the key as_cookie_consent and respected on future visits. You can reopen the banner and change your choice at any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer of AttnSetter.io, or the button below.
6.2 — Browser-Level Controls
You can also control cookies at the browser level. Most modern browsers allow you to:
- View, block, or delete all cookies stored by any website
- Block third-party cookies by default while allowing first-party cookies
- Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set
Please note that disabling cookies at the browser level may affect the functionality of AttnSetter.io and the AttnSetter platform, including your ability to log in and use core features. Instructions for managing cookies vary by browser — refer to your browser’s help documentation for specific steps.
6.3 — Do Not Track
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. AttnSetter.io currently does not alter its data collection practices in response to DNT signals, as there is no universal standard for interpreting such signals. We will review this position as industry standards evolve.
Section 7 — Cookie Retention Periods
The cookies and storage we set today are retained as follows:
| Item | Retention Period |
|---|---|
| Session / authentication cookie | Cleared when you log out or your session expires. |
as_theme (theme preference) | Stored in local storage until you clear your browser data. |
as_cookie_consent (consent record) | Stored in local storage until you clear your browser data or change your choice. |
Section 8 — Legal Basis for Cookie Use
AttnSetter.io is operated from the United States and primarily serves US-based users. Our use of cookies is governed by applicable US law, including Kansas state law, and our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The essential cookies we use are necessary to provide the service you have requested (contractual necessity / strict necessity). If we later introduce analytics or advertising cookies, we will rely on your affirmative consent, obtained through the cookie banner, before setting them.
Section 9 — Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Consent Policy from time to time as we add new features, integrations, or third-party services, or as applicable laws change. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the effective date at the top of this document
- Post the revised policy at AttnSetter.io/cookies
- Re-present the cookie consent banner so you have the opportunity to review and re-consent under the updated terms
- Where required by applicable law, provide advance notice of material changes
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of AttnSetter.io after an updated policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
